Yu-Gi-Oh brand welcomes raft of new licensees

Konami Cross Media has welcomed a number of new licensees to the programme for anime franchise, Yu-Gi-Oh!

Fashion UK in on board for apparel as it looks to grow its anime offering; US-based manufacturer of gym apparel and accessories, Kovert will launch a line of Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise; while Mister SFC will launch a range of Yu-Gi-Oh! jewellery to mark the 25th anniversary of the Trading Card Game.

Konami Cross Media was at Brand Licensing Europe last week (4-6 October) where it was aiming to identify further new merchandising opportunities.

“We are excited for the continuing growth into new categories,” commented Jennifer Coleman, vp licensing and marketing at Konami Cross Media. “From sustainable clothing, to gym workout wear, to jewelry, these new deals will bring a lot of buzz around Yu-Gi-Oh! products not previously available to its fans.”

The new lines will all be available in time for the 2023 holiday season.
