According to The Guardian, in October 20 of the 50 most popular YouTube channels were aimed at children. Those 20 channels generated more than 5.2 billion video views in that month.
Homegrown British channel Little Baby Bum is leading the way, with 428.5 million views in October – making it the third biggest channel on YouTube overall.
In addition, the channel has just overtaken One Direction as the most watched British channel of all time. Its Wheels on the Bus compilation also recently overtook Gangnam Style by Psy as the biggest YouTube video by watch time.
