Wrendale Designs launches a new brand and a new range

Featuring the company’s much-loved designs, Wrendale Designs has announced two big launches for Spring 2023 – the Little Wren babywear collection and a range of kitchen textiles.

“We’ve been wanting to develop a baby range for several years now, as so many of our retailers have asked for it,” explained founder and creative maestro Hannah Dale. “Along with creating a new brand, Little Wren by Wrendale Designs, I wanted the artwork to be distinctly different from our core collections but still have the Wrendale flavour. As always, the starting point for me was to design the cards. Once I had this, the rest of the collection flowed from there.”

There are three different ranges in the collection – Little Forest, themed around woodland animals; Little Paws, featuring puppy dogs; and Little Savannah, featuring elephants and giraffes.  “We’ve launched six different designs of cotton babygrows, some baby milestone cards, baby socks and beautifully soft baby blankets with a fleecy lining,” explained Hannah.

She highlights that her favourite thing about the collection is that the company has teamed up with Eden Reforestation Projects. “For every babygrow purchased, we will fund the planting of a tree,” confirmed Hannah. “We’ve included a gift tag with each one so that the recipient knows that a tree has been planted in their baby’s name.”

Hannah is equally excited about the company’s new kitchen textile collection, with the launch introducing six fresh new everyday patterns and two new Christmas designs, all featuring Wrendale’s best selling artwork across tea towels, aprons and oven gloves, with more products in the pipeline.

“The designs are all printed on 100% cotton and are beautiful quality,” stated Hannah. “As with all of our ranges, the packaging is totally plastic free, and we’ve worked hard to make sure that our retailers will easily be able to display the new products to show them off to their best effects. I’m very proud of this new textile collection and can’t wait to hear the reaction from our stockists.”

Both collections will be showcased on the Wrendale Designs stand (Hall 3; stand 3P10-Q11) at Spring Fair (5-8 February, NEC).
