Wonder Woman continues to break records

Becomes highest grossing movie in the DC Extended Universe in the US.

Big screen smash hit Wonder Woman is continuing in its record breaking vein, becoming the highest grossing movie in the DC Extended Universe in the US.

The super hero film has now made $339.9 million at the US box office alone, according to Digital Spy.

This puts it just ahead of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which went on to make $873.2 million worldwide.

Wonder Woman’s worldwide total currently stands at $670.6 million, ahead of both Man of Steel and Suicide Squad.

Wonder Woman is already the highest grossing female directed film of all time, having been helmed by Patty Jenkins, plus the highest grossing female-led live action movie.
