Winner of Carte Blanche Greetings Licensing Lounge spa day revealed

As part of the Retail Mentoring Programme – a free course set up to educate retailers in the key aspects of brand licensing – visitors to last month’s Brand Licensing Europe were treated to the opportunity to win a £500 spa day.

This was all thanks to Carte Blanche Greetings, licensor of the Me to You brand and its signature character Tatty Teddy, and its agent Bulldog Licensing.

Visitors to the Informa Markets Retail Lounge were invited to enter a competition to design a range of Tatty Teddy licensed products using brand new creative, with the winner being rewarded with a £500 Champneys voucher.

The winning entry was designed by Ghanika Neranjan from George at Asda who captured the brief with a range of Me to You products for mums and kids. The entry included commercial products supported with physical and digital marketing activation, creative in-store merchandising and promotional ideas.

“A big thank you to all retailers who entered the competition and huge congratulations to our very worthy winner, Ghanika Neranjan, from George at Asda,” commented Grace Elphinstone, marketing manager at Carte Blanche Greetings. “The competition was a great opportunity to showcase our new creative for Me to You and inspire our retailers with the versatility of the brand.”

Ghanika exclaimed that winning the competition had ‘made her week’ and she ‘loved the fact that it was a creative task where we could really pull together our imaginary range and visualise how it would look’.

Ghanika is planning on sharing her spa day with her sister for a much-needed break after an extremely busy and successful BLE.
