Widdop and Co adds to licensed portfolio

Giftware company adds watercolour artist Meg Hawkins to its roster.

Gift and homewares company Widdop and Co has welcomed watercolour artist Meg Hawkins to its licensed portfolio.

The company is adding Meg’s work to a collection of home and gifting items in its Country Living brand, ranging from cushions to mugs.

The range will launch at Widdop’s January, 2019 show – taking place in its North Manchester showroom – while it will be showcased to a wider audience at Spring Fair in February, 2019.

“We are incredibly excited to reveal the products we’ve been working on with Meg,” said Stephen Illingworth, product development director at Widdop and Co. “Her work celebrates the true beauty and majesty of wildlife. It’s totally unique and instantly recognisable, and her well-deserved success is proof of that.”

Meg added: “It has been a real pleasure to design some exclusive designs for the company, and I am really excited for the launch of the full range of products and designs at Spring Fair next year.”
