Why we’re backing the B&LLAs: IFL Science

IFL is sponsoring Best Grocer/Supermarket Licensed Brand Retailer Execution.

IFL Science is the latest sponsor of the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards to outline why it was so keen to become involved with the new event.

The company is sponsoring the Best Grocer/Supermarket Licensed Brand Retailer Execution at the event, which takes place on Wednesday April 20 at The Dorchester, London.

Michele Kuprewicz, merchandise manager at IFL Science, commented: “Over the last few years there has been an enormous surge in the number of brands entering the licensing world – Brand Licensing Europe is a prime example of this, growing each year.

“Commercially, the licensing business can be massive and I think this is why more and more brands are getting involved. It’s a global business.”

Michele explains that IFL Science is supporting the B&LLAs as the company is now taking its first steps into the licensing arena. IFL recently appointed Global Merchandising Services and Untapped Agency to represent it in the UK and Australia/New Zealand respectively.

“It is of significant importance not only to already established brands, but also those up and coming,” she said. “It’s always important to recognise all the hard work licensors, licensees and retailers do behind closed doors.

“Licensing is about creativity and innovation.”

The Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards takes place at The Dorchester, Park Lane on Wednesday, April 20.

Other partners on board include Advanstar/Brand Licensing Europe (headline sponsor), LIMA, Emerald Exhibitions, Brands With Influence, Hallett Retail, Beanstalk, Start Licensing, CPLG, Discovery, Pringles, Kimm & Miller, Octane 5, Golden Goose, TLC, JCB, Happy Jackson, TLP and Spring Fair.
