‘We expect more, bigger brands to look to licensing’ says director Adam Bass.
The founder and director of Golden Goose expects to see more and bigger brands look to licensing in the future.
Adam Bass told The Source: “With retail’s greater emphasis on private label we expect more, bigger brands to look to licensing primarily as a way of demonstrating brand strength and growing channel power rather than just a source of revenue.”
Golden Goose is sponsoring Best Brand Licensed Consumer Hard Goods Product or Range at this year’s Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards.
Adam continued: “The B&LLAs are a way to reward the increasing professionalism of this growing marketing discipline, helping to ensure that high quality licensing is recognised by the whole marketing industry.”
The Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards takes place at The Dorchester, Park Lane on Thursday, April 27.
Other partners on board include headline sponsor Brand Licensing Europe, LIMA, TLC, CPLG, Beanstalk, Start Licensing, Pink Key Consulting, TLP, Happy Jackson, Octane 5, Brandgenuity Europe, The Smiley Company, House Beautiful and Country Living Magazine, PowerStation Studios, Corsair, Autumn Fair, Select Licensing and Monty Bojangles.
