‘We see significant growth in the lifestyle brand sector’ says head of licensing, Terry Lamb.
Lifestyle licences have become such an important part of Corsair’s growth, that the company has established a separate division.
The licensee has also taken on additional staff to focus solely on the sector, Corsair’s head of licensing Terry Lamb told The Source.
Terry commented: “We see significant growth within the lifestyle brand sector over the next five years, as many more brand owners recognise the benefits of licensing, not just in generating additional revenues, but also in building and promoting brand awareness.
“It’s this brand building and promotion which has driven our recent licensing deals. Lifestyle licences have now become such an important part of Corsair’s growth, we’ve set up a separate division, and taken on additional staff, to focus solely on this sector.”
Corsair is sponsoring Best Licensed Food or Beverage Brand at this year’s Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards.
Terry believes it is important to recognise the value of the brand and lifestyle market, both in its potential and its increasing importance to the licensing industry overall.
“I also think it right we recognise those companies doing a great job of developing the lifestyle side of the licensing industry. Because of this, we are very proud to support and be a part of the B&LLAS,” he added.
The Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards takes place at The Dorchester, Park Lane on Thursday, April 27.
Other partners on board include headline sponsor Brand Licensing Europe, LIMA, TLC, CPLG, Beanstalk, Start Licensing, Golden Goose, Pink Key Consulting, TLP, Happy Jackson, Octane 5, Brandgenuity Europe, The Smiley Company, House Beautiful and Country Living Magazine, PowerStation Studios, Autumn Fair, Select Licensing and Monty Bojangles.
