Where’s Wally? dines at ASK Italian

Summer partnership with chain secured by Walker Books and Universal Brand Development.

Walker Books and Universal Brand Development have partnered with restaurant chain ASK Italian for a summer promotion featuring DreamWorks’ classic property, Where’s Wally?

Marking 30 years of bestselling books for the brand, the campaign will see young diners given a Where’s Wally? The Totally Tasty Challenge activity booklet, created exclusively for the partnership by Walker Books.

The 60,000 limited edition activity booklets will be distributed in 113 participating ASK Italian restaurants across the country this summer.

Also included is a competition to win a seven-night family holiday to Italy, courtesy of TravelUp, plus an exclusive half price offer on Where’s Wally? books at participating WHSmith high street stores.

The Where’s Wally? campaign will be promoted on A-Boards located outside over 100 ASK Italian restaurants, drawing in customers who will also be greeted by a fun Where’s Wally? branded table, reinforcing the partnership and the book brand to customers.

The campaign will be supported online and via the partners’ digital media channels, reaching over 1.5m consumers, and will also be communicated via the book retailer environment with over 12,000 co-branded bookmarks being distributed via 124 WHSmith stores.

ASK is also running a special ‘kids eat for £1’ offer to further support the campaign.

The campaign has been created by specialist partnership marketing agency, mostra.
