Drew Pearson International’s Emily Harrison on liaising with retail on coordinated ranges and expanding its ecomm offer.
As we continue the journey through 2022, LicensingSource asks a selection of licensees from across various categories how they are looking to make the most of the first quarter of the year.
Today: Emily Harrison, sales manager, Drew Pearson International.
“Key for us for Q1 2022 is to continue bringing great quality product to market and we are excited about how 2022 is rolling out so far. There are still major challenges which we all know about – shipping, power restrictions and of course the ongoing pandemic – but as we all find ways of working through this, we are seeing great sales on licensed accessories.
More than ever, we are liaising with licensors and retailers to work into coordinated ranges in-store and saw the result of everyone’s hard work reflected in last autumn’s Peppa Pig range at George, where accessories co-ordinated with outerwear and footwear. There will only be more of this in 2022.
There are still new opportunities out there and we are expanding our ecomm offer – it is a target growth area for us and we have had great feedback from retailers on our product. We will also be launching a comprehensive stock programme for 2022 comprising of the most sought after spring/summer and autumn/winter caps, beanies, scarves and gloves across all of our key licences.”
