“We are greatly encouraged by the resilience of the industry”

Redan Publishing’s Julie Jones on 15 years of publishing Peppa Pig magazines, plastic-free covermounts and sustainability being key.

As we begin the journey through 2022, LicensingSource asks a selection of licensees from across various categories how they are looking to make the most of the first quarter of the year.

Today: Julie Jones, md, Redan Publishing.

“We are thrilled to be celebrating 15 years of publishing Peppa Pig magazines in Q1 of 2022. Fun To Learn Peppa Pig magazine will see its 350th issue in March and Peppa Pig Bag-o-Fun celebrates its 150th issue in February.

Q1 also sees our first plastic-free covermounted issues with some fantastic, innovative designs including a dinosaur set on FTL Favourites magazine and a play scene set on Peppa Pig Bag-o-Fun. Sustainability has been, and continues to be a key focus, and it will be really exciting to see our ideas coming onto the market.

We are greatly encouraged by the resilience of the industry and were delighted that London Toy Fair went ahead. We look forward to connecting and making exciting plans with many of our toy and licensing partners.”
