Warner Bros. & DC mark Wonder Woman at 75

Year-long celebration will culminate in release of first feature film in June 2017.

Warner Bros. Entertainment and DC Entertainment are marking the 75th anniversary of Wonder Woman with a year-long run of activity.

A special logo has already been revealed, with the initiative taking in the relaunch of the character’s comic book series, new graphic novels, convention panels and a wide ranging consumer products programme.

The anniversary events will culminate with the release of Wonder Woman’s first ever feature length movie in June 2017.

Licensed merchandise will include The Barbie Collection Amazon Princess Wonder Woman Barbie Doll (available exclusively on Mattycollector.com), fashion and accessories from partners such as Valentino, Under Armour and Converse, luggage and backpacks from Pottery Barn, plus a line of Wonder Woman-inspired beauty products available exclusively at Walgreens.

“Wonder Woman has long stood with Batman and Superman in the trinity of DC’s most iconic Super Heroes, but she also stands alone as a symbol of equality, justice and female empowerment and is more relevant today than ever,” said Diane Nelson, president of DC Entertainment, president of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, and president and chief content officer of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
