VIZ Media Europe is looking to reinforce its image and consolidate its position as a leading Japanese entertainment specialist across EMEA, today revealing a new visual identity.
Established in 2007, VIZ Media Europe is the European subsidiary of three of Japan’s leading creators and publishers of manga and animation series: Shueisha, Shogakukan, and Shogakukan-Shueisha Productions.
The group owns more than 70% of the world’s manga market, making it the leading player in the field of Japanese manga, licensing, animation and entertainment.
VME handles the distribution, licensing and promotion of key Japanese properties, such as Blue exorcist, Bleach, Captain Tsubasa, Death Note, Doraemon, My Hero Academia, One Punch Man and Yo-kai Watch.
The company also has its own SVOD platform (Anime Digital Network) through a joint venture with Media-Participations.
