Vintage clothing label reveals Frida Kahlo collab

Art Ask Agency signs up N16 Vintage for new fashion collection.

Art Ask Agency has confirmed another fashion collaboration for the Frida Kahlo brand, with N16 Vintage on board.

The deal will see North London-based N16 Vintage create t-shirts, sweats, dresses, outerwear, jackets and scarves among other lines.

The company – which began trading in 2011 – is know for its military surplus, vintage denim, leathers and fabric.

N16 is also preparing a range for the upcoming Frida Kahlo – Making Her Self Up exhibition, which is running at the V&A from June to November.

Maria Strid from Art Ask Agency commented: “Frida Kahlo was, and is, a fashion icon. We are very pleased to be working with N16 Vintage on this new and exciting development. Their creative skills and use of materials, texture and pattern is amazing.”

The new deal follows closely on from the collaboration with Mango which has already sold out in a number of stores.
