135 key UK licensees and retailers attended the event at London’s Ham Yard Hotel.

Some 135 key UK licensees and retailers packed into London’s Ham Yard Hotel last Thursday (March 30) for the annual Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products showcase.

Retail partners from Tesco, Asda, George, Primark, Smyths and The Entertainer all attended the event – which also saw the licensor present its UK Achievement Awards.

“Our annual showcase provides us with an opportunity to take our valued partners through the successes of the previous year and present our plans for the year ahead,” Marianne James, vp commercial partnerships, consumer products and experiences, Nickelodeon UK & Ireland, told The Source.

“Thursday’s event was brilliant as we celebrated the phenomenal performance of our largest-ever preschool portfolio, as well as the contribution made by our fashion-focused brands and creative retail campaigns.

“Licensees and retail partners seemed energized by the presentation and I’m delighted that we were able to share so much of what we have planned to sustain our current top performers and the brand-new properties that we’ll be launching in the coming months.”
