Execs tee off to raise well over £10,000 for the industry charity. 

This year’s popular industry golf day in aid of The Light Fund was another success, with the event raising well in excess of £10,000 for the charity.

Held at the Warwickshire Golf & Country Club on Thursday June 15, the event welcomed execs from the likes of Nickelodeon, eOne, Universal, CPLG, Bulldog Licensing, Carlton Books, ITV, BBC Worldwide, DRi, Rocket Licensing, Pokémon, MGA, Sony, Rockpool Licensing, Chapman Productions, Sanrio, Manchester City, Penguin, Pink Key Consulting, Acamar Films, Tesco, TU, Aardvark Swift, Amscan, Aykroyds & Sons, Blueprint, Blues Clothing, Brands In Ltd, BWI Merch, Character Hub, Cooneen, Danilo, Dreamtex, GB eye, Haynes, HTI, Kinnerton, Poetic Brands, Rainbow Designs, Little Brother Books, Imagination TV, Highlight PR, Max Publishing, Smith & Brooks and Spearmark.

Aardvark Swift sponsored the winners’ trophies, while MV Sports is kindly supplied the golf prize.

A number of prizes were handed out after the day’s activities, including:

Beginners team – Ian Hyder (Max Publishing), Trudi Hayward (ITV), Ryan Beaird (LIMA), Natalie Harvey (ITV) and Stephen Gould (Sutikki).

Best beginner – Jade Kellman, Sanrio

Best female – Donna Aykroyd

Runners up (main competition) – Mark Kingston (Nickelodeon), Martin Withers (Spearmark) and Ashley Holman (Nickelodeon)

Longest drive – Simon Benton, Pokémon

Beat the Pro – John Carolan, Sainsbury’s

Winning team – John Carolan (Sainsbury’s), Donna Aykroyd, David Aykroyd and Sion Aykroyd (Aykroyd & Sons)

Best Individual – Anthony Duckworth, Dreamtex
