Vans launches The Nightmare Before Christmas line

Ten-piece footwear range is complemented with apparel and accessories.

Vans is continuing with its long-standing Disney collaboration, launching a new collection inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas.

The range hit stores and online on October 4 and features footwear complemented by a range of apparel and accessories.

The collection invites fans to step into the imagination and artistry of the cult classic, with the characters and a number of scenes interpreted onto items.

Key scene Jack’s Lament, for example, is featured on the Sk8-Hi with each of the four panels showcasing a frame from the character’s walk through the Halooween Town cemetery. A message on the inside collar reads ‘Nice work, Bone Daddy’.

In addition, the Jack Pull Over Hoodie features a special rendition of Jack’s Lament with a checkerboard spiral hill.

Meanwhile, the Pumpkin King’s ghostly suit including cat and bat wing applique is mimicked on the Classic Slip-On, while Dr. Finkelstein’s master humanoid creation, Sally, receives her very own Era Stacked silhouette and Sally Patchwork Crew.

The Classic Slip-On and long sleeve tee showcase elements from Oogie Boogie’s underground lair – such as dice and skull graphics – while the ComfyCush Authentic features all of the characters from the film layered on a checkerboard backdrop.

Halloween Town favourites can also be found across a variety of different designs and products for the youngest ghouls with friendly features such as elastic laces, zip closure and glow in the dark elements.
