Papier launches over 100 customisable products featuring V&A designs.
The V&A is making its first foray into personalisation – teaming with Papier for a new range which includes over 100 customisable products.
The collection includes stationery, notebooks and wedding invitations and launched exclusively on papier.com yesterday (April 10).
The V&A and Papier have produced a unique set of notecards and journals inspired by the work of Owen Jones (1809–74) – an architect and designer known for his theories on colour, pattern and ornamentation.
Meanwhile, the wedding collection of invitation suites explores an extensive set of floral imagery, also taken from Owen’s vibrant prints, inspired by ancient Chinese ceramics in the V&A.
All invitations are printed in England, using luxe Mohawk paper.
Papier’s founder, Taymoor Atighetchi, commented: “We’re delighted to be collaborating with the V&A.
“It’s an exciting process to be able to work with an institution that has so much design history. We were particularly drawn to Owen Jones and felt his designs would translate beautifully onto our products.”
