Museum secures new partnerships with DMC and Practical Publishing in category.
The V&A has underlined its presence within the arts and crafting category, confirming two new partnerships.
First up, the museum is launching a range of premium embroidery kits inspired by the Arts and Crafts Movement with textile brand, DMC.
The collection features ten cross-stitch and tapestry kits, each depicting a famous design from the celebrated design movement and designed to ‘spark the imagination’, the V&A said.
Meanwhile, as part of a year-long collaboration across the Practical Publishing crafting portfolio, the V&A has released a papercrafting magazine and kit featuring 64 projects and exclusive editorial content.
The V&A Learning team is also working with Practical Publishing to deliver a papercrafting workshop, using the box kit to create handmade paper projects.
This month also sees collaborative features in Love Sewing and Quilt Now, with more to come later in 2019.
