New product lines hit Japan and the US this month.
The V&A Museum is continuing to underline its licensing credentials on an international level, with new product lines launching in Japan and the US this month.
First up, Japan welcomes a new accessories range with American brand, Le Sportsac.
The collection features 39 products including a cross body travel carry on and smaller items like a cosmetic bag.
The design team at Le Sportsac selected from the V&A archive William Morris’ Daisy as the principal pattern for the range. Daisy was the first wallpaper designed by William to be put into production in 1864.
Meanwhile, Moda is launching a new range of quilting fabrics in the US. The collection features 40 patterns, again inspired by the work of William Morris and celebrating the depth and diversity of his work.
The cotton fabrics – which are manufactured in Japan – will be unveiled for the first time at the Quilt Market in St Louis in May, and will then be distributed domestically and internationally.
