As part of Universal Products & Experiences’ continued global commercial growth strategy, Jo Pascoe has been promoted to senior vice president, consumer products APAC, overseeing the Asia Pacific and China regions.
Reporting directly to Rafael Macias, global CPG commercial officer, Jo (pictured) will lead the creation and execution of long-term growth strategies across the APAC region for both the direct markets and agent managed regions.
In her previous role at UP&E, Jo oversaw the Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and India regions, fueling expansion through innovative, brand building campaigns with retail and licensing partners, as well as serving as the interim commercial lead across EMEA in 2024.
Jo has been part of the Universal team since the acquisition of DreamWorks Animation in 2016, serving as the country managing director of Australia and New Zealand, and prior to that, she oversaw licensing for the Asia Pacific region at DreamWorks Animation.
Before her tenure at Universal, she spent 11 years at Disney Consumer Products leading initiatives in the US and Australia, as well as holding various positions at McPherson’s Consumer Products (formerly Furi Global), among others.
