Sony Computer Entertainment Europe seeking partners across EMEA, Australia, New Zealand and India for global franchise.
The latest instalment in the global gaming franchise Uncharted will be on show at Brand Licensing Europe, as Sony Computer Entertainment Europe looks to secure partners in key categories.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches exclusively on PlayStation 4 on March 18, 2016. Developed by Naughty Dog and once again following the adventures of main protagonist, Nathan Drake, the fourth instalment offers a more cinematic experience with real-time cut scenes and new character animations. For the first time, players can also drive vehicles during gameplay.
SCEE will be using BLE as a launchpad to showcase licensing opportunities and will be seeking partners across EMEA, Australia, New Zealand and India. Lead categories include apparel, accessories and collectables targeting adult gaming fans.
“Uncharted 4 presents a very exciting licensing opportunity,” said David Evans, European licensing manager at SCEE. “The dynamic gameplay, introduction of vehicles, cinematic storytelling, richly detailed and varied environments all combine to enhance the game’s licensing programme.
“Add to that, the huge fanbase and level of awareness for a gaming property of this calibre and what you have is a compelling opportunity for both licensees and retailers. We look forward to sharing details of the new game with partners at the show.”
