V&A, Bulldog, Copyrights Group, Peppa Pig, RFU among those shortlisted in US accolades.
The nominees for the 2016 LIMA Licensing Awards have been revealed – with a host of UK companies and brands featuring in the line-up.
The awards ceremony will once again form a key part of Licensing Expo – held on the first night of the event, June 21, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center.
The V&A has been shortlisted in the Art & Design Licensing Programme category, alongside It’s a WildLife from Form Advertising/Bulldog Licensing.
Paddington, meanwhile, has bagged a nomination for The Copyrights Group and Paddington and Company in the Character/Toy Brand category.
eOne’s Peppa Pig is among the nominees in the Film/TV/Entertainment, Animated category – it lines up alongside Frozen, Masha and the Bear, Minions, Paw Patrol, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Boonie Bears.
CPLG and The RFU will also be celebrating after the England Rugby brand was shortlisted in the Sports category.
Blueprint Collections, Lovehoney, Underground Toys, Bon Bon Buddies, Robinson’s Brewery and H&A are among the licensees nominated across various categories, while Hot Topic’s Doctor Who fashion line is also in the mix.
Other big name brands nominated for the US awards include Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Coca Cola, Pets Rock, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Shopkins, My Little Pony, Barbie and Snoopy among others.
