True Religion denim brand widens focus with new accessories deal

Classic US apparel and accessories brand, True Religion is expanding its focus with its latest licensing deal.

The denim brand has teamed up with New York-based fine leather belt specialist, Amiee Lynn for a new range of women’s belts.

Amiee Lynn will lead the design of 16 styles, available in a variety of colours, which will feature True Religion’s logo as well as the brand’s classic horseshoe and Buddha symbols.

“As a denim brand, belts have always been an important category to the True Religion style,” said Michael Buckley, ceo at True Religion. “With the reemergence of denim, we are pleased to partner with Amiee Lynn as we continue to expand our selections.”

Michael Spolansky, ceo and founder of Amiee Lynn, continued: “Jeans are returning to the fashion scene in a major way and we are looking forward to a successful partnership.”

Paul Rosengard, evp of wholesale and licensing at True Religion, said that the partnership continues to build on the depth of its brand portfolio.
