Trends UK on board for Numberblocks and Alphablocks

Trends UK has added hit preschool brands Numberblocks and Alphablocks to its roster.

The company will create a range of electronic learning aids for both brands, following a licensing deal with Larkshead Licensing. Products will launch later this year.

“We are delighted that Trends UK have joined the ever expanding Numberblocks and Alphablocks licensing programme,” said Clare Piggott, director at Larkshead Licensing, which handles the brands in the UK. “It seemed such a natural fit to partner with Trends to develop ELAs with the BAFTA award winning Numberblocks, and BAFTA nominated Alphablocks.

“We have high hopes for these new products, which will offer little learners lots of lovely, engaging gameplay using number and word magic.”

Lindsay Hardy, marketing director at Trends UK, added: “We are excited to be partnering with these incredible brands whose essence encapsulates fun and learning, combined with high quality animation and story-telling.”

Numberblocks and Alphablocks both air on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer in the UK. Globally, their respective official YouTube channels have a combined 1.8 billion lifetime views. The series also both air globally on Netflix (excluding UK, Africa, Israel and China).
