Treadstone celebrates Spring Fair success

Garden accessories licensee adds new retailers following debut at trade show.

Branded garden accessories company, Treadstone Products is celebrating success following its appearance as an exhibitor at Spring Fair for the first time.

The company – which boasts licences including Peter Rabbit, Laura Ashley and The Good Life – said it met its first customer and took an order within half an hour of the show opening.

Treadstone displayed its Laura Ashley and Peter Rabbit outdoor ranges in a retail-style environment, with visitors praising it for its clever use of space on the show floor.

Dean Winters, head of brands, commented: “It was great to meet with such a wide variety of retailers from across so many different sectors and to see that they are just as passionate about the brands as we are.

“By the end of the show, we had taken orders and enquiries from gift shops, garden centres, online retailers, toy shops, farm shops, shoe shops, distributors, grocery and department stores, as well as a number of visitor attractions.

“The real bonus for us though was the export interest shown from 10 international companies.”
