TRAP kicks off 2017 with Camden raid

Camden Council Trading Standards assisted with raids in Stables Market.

2017 was only a few days old, when Surelock – acting on behalf of TRAP and working with Camden Council Trading Standards – made the first raids of the New Year.

Tens of thousands of pounds worth of counterfeit music merchandise were seized during raids at three retail spaces in Stables Market in Camden, North London.

Product seized included several thousand t-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts.

The raids followed on from detailed surveillance in the area.

TRAP is the worldwide collective of rights holders and publishers which aims to protect the public from purchasing counterfeit products. It includes licensees such as Bravado, Danilo, Pyramid International and Gb eye.
