Toys R Us reveals Children’s Day activity

Licensed characters taking part in May 30 celebration across key stores.

Toys R Us is holding a special Children’s Day event across its stores on Bank Holiday Monday (May 30), with a raft of licensed characters getting involved.

The event will run from midday to 3pm, with all stores holding LEGO Minifigures and Shopkins swap shops, Panini Euro 2016 football stickers swap shop, LEGO Make & Take, a treasure hunt to win a £500 trolley dash, colouring activities and Nerf shooting competitions.

In addition, a number of licensed characters will appear at selected stores.

These will include Danger Mouse (Nottingham), Shopkins (Brent Cross, Watford, York, Cardiff), Raphael (Reading) and Leonardo (Croydon) from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bing & Flop (York) and Barbie (Manchester) among others.
