Australian band opens pop-up shops with exclusive merchandise to accompany tour.
Australian group 5 Seconds of Summer has been opening pop-up shops selling exclusive merchandise to accompany the current tour.
The band – which is promoting the new album, Youngblood – opened the first pop-up at the end of July for the start of the tour in Japan, according to Celeb Mix.
Two stores opened – one in Osaka and the other in Tokyo – followed by a pop-up in Sydney on August 9.
Merchandise available included t-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, hoodies, bags, caps, posters and bomber jackets with 5SOS written on the front and Youngblood on the back on top of the group’s album artwork.
In a tweet, band member Ashton Irwin said: “One of the things I love most about being in @5sos is being apart of creating extensions of our music. Like merchandise that represents our fans and band.”
