Topps moves up a gear with 24 Hours of Le Mans

The Topps Company has secured a new partnership with 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will see it provide exclusive trading cards from the iconic motorsport event.

The deal was brokered by Le Mans’ exclusive licensing agency, IMG.

The first product is due to launch this month (February) and will feature artwork from the original race posters from 1923 to the present day.

“As one of the most prestigious and historical licences in motor sport, 24 Hours Le Mans is a brand we are excited and honoured to be representing in their centenary year,” commented Mark Catlin, general manager international sports and entertainment at The Topps Company.

Stéphane Andriolo, director of customers and events at the Automobile Club de l’Ouest, continued: “On the eve of the centenary of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, many partnerships are being formed with prestigious brands. The history and heritage of the world’s greatest endurance race has always attracted collectors. We are very pleased to sign this partnership with Topps, the leading brand in trading cards. These products will allow all Le Mans 24 Hours enthusiasts to enjoy the race.”
