Tommy Schweiger confirms retirement

Popular industry personality launched Character World with son Danny in 1998.

One of the licensing industry’s most colourful characters – Tommy Schweiger – has confirmed his retirement.

Tommy had already been working in the industry for several years, when he launched housewares specialist Character World with son Danny in 1998.

He exited the business in 2008.

Keen to stay involved in the industry, Tommy acted as a licensing consultant to legal practice Hill Dickinson, before setting up 360 Audit with Henna Riaz and Dow Schofield Watts in 2010.

“I have always loved the licensing industry; it’s been very good to me,” said Tommy. “I’d like to thank everyone for their support over the years and hope the industry continues to flourish.”

Tommy’s decision to retire leaves him free to spend more time with his family.
