Toikido partners with Cake on long-form content for PeaKeeBoo series

Creative studio Toikido and partnered with kids’ entertainment specialist CAKE to develop and co-produce a long-form animated series, PeaKeeBoo.

The new collaboration is aiming to expand the PeaKeeBoo universe from its YouTube shorts into long-form, five-minute animated episodes.

PeaKeeBoo is inspired by the classic childhood game and is designed to promote themes of exploration, creativity and playful learning. It is narrated by Sophie Ellis-Bextor, with Golden Bear Toys on board as master toy licensee and plans to launch a range of textured plush, figurines and activity sets in autumn/winter 2025.

The partnership combines Toikido’s creative brand building with CAKE’s storytelling and distribution structure.

“We are ecstatic to partner with CAKE on this exciting venture,” commented Darran Garnham, ceo at Toikido. “CAKE’s track record in producing high-quality children’s content is unparalleled, and we are confident that together we will bring the magical world of PeaKeeBoo to life, captivating young audiences globally.”

Ed Galton, ceo at CAKE, continued: “We are delighted to collaborate with Toikido on PeaKeeBoo. Toikido’s innovative approach to brand building combined with our storytelling and distribution expertise promises to deliver an extraordinary series that will resonate with children and parents alike.”
