This is Iris adds Ailsa Black to portfolio

Artist has recently worked with The Otter House Group on a greeting card line.

This is Iris has expanded its stable of artists with the addition of Ailsa Black.

Ailsa’s work is based on the interaction of landscape, animals, birds, and people that surround her – from day to day observations through to humorous images.

Bespoke artwork is available, with Ailsa recently developing a line of art images for one UK publisher.

Recently signed to Otter House for greeting cards, the collection is now available to licence across a range of products.

Martin Rees-Davies, head of licensing for The Otter House Group, said: “We are are delighted to be working with Ailsa Black and This is Iris to develop a stunning range of Ailsa Black greeting cards.

“Ailsa’s artwork stands out for being bright, bold, eye catching and her dogs, cats, birds and wildlife all link extremely well with what Otter House does best.

“The range of cards will be a mixture of Ailsa’s work and we know they will be very well received and a great success for all occasions.”

Ailsa has also recently been selected to illustrate a number of images for two UK charities. Each partner will develop their own product ranges with details of these new partnerships set to be announced at Brand Licensing Europe in October.
