The Very Hungry Caterpillar takes a bite out of License Connection

The Joester Loria Group appoints License Connection as licensing agent in the Benelux for the brand.

The Joester Loria Group – the worldwide licensing agency for The World of Eric Carle including The Very Hungry Caterpillar – has appointed License Connection as its licensing agent in the Benelux.

The company will now represent The World of Eric Carle and The Very Hungry Caterpillar brand across a wide range of licensed categories including apparel, puzzles, games and home.

It will also be seeking to expand the licensing portfolio into categories such as food, baby accessories and retail partnerships. License Connection will manage both existing and new partnerships.

“License Connection’s strength across multiple licensing categories and a number of brands has made them the great choice to grow the World of Eric Carle licensing programme,” said Jackie DeMaio, licensing director at The Joester Loria Group. “We are looking forward to a partnership that will boost awareness of this much-loved brand.”

Daphne Kellerman, owner of License Connection, added: “We are really excited about this relationship with the TJL Group and thrilled to partner with them in the Benelux. We look forward to expand this well-known brand with new products to kids and families throughout the region so kids can experience their own Very Hungry Caterpillar adventure.”
