The Source jobs board: Hearst UK special

Hearst UK is looking to significantly grow its team, and is recruiting for three new positions.

First up, the publisher is looking to hire a new business sales development manager (licensing).

The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and supporting the growth of existing and new revenues through licensing partnerships for the publishing house across multiple brands. Reporting to the licensing sales director, you will be involved in all aspects of the pitch process including researching industry landscapes, targeting and prospecting partners, pitch sales collateral preparation and post pitch support in getting the deal over the line and settled into the business. At times, the role will also involve pitching directly to clients.

Next, a licensing sales manager is being sought to support the licensing sales director with the licensing partnership strategies across multiple brands. The primary focus will be on generating revenue by identifying and securing licensing deals, negotiating contracts and managing key relationships with licensees. The role requires excellent sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities.
