The Rolling Stones on board with KidSuper for Hackney Diamonds collaboration

The Rolling Stones revealed an exclusive collaboration with KidSuper – the creative collection founded by artist and designer, Colm Dillane – yesterday (12 October).

Produced in partnership with Bravado, and coinciding with the release of the band’s 31st studio album, Hackney Diamonds, comes a limited edition Rolling Stones x KidSuper CD and cassette featuring the band’s iconic tongue logo reimagined in two mediums by the multidisciplinary New York creative.

The collaboration also extends to a range of merchandise including tees, hooded sweats, headwear and accessories.

“I’ve been a fan of The Rolling Stones since I was a kid, so when the opportunity came to support the release of their new studio album, I couldn’t turn it down,” commented Colm Dillane, artist, designer and founder of KidSuper. “The iconic logo, which I designed using fingerprint artwork, represents the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll, and how many people have been touched by the band’s music over their incredible 60-year history.

“It was important to me through the creative process, that we fused this spirit and celebration with the KidSuper energy and reflected this in the designs. I’m so proud with how the collection turned out and am excited for fans to get their hands on it.”

Matt Young, president at Bravado, continued: “This incredible collaboration has been a true meeting of the minds between one of the most iconic bands in history and KidSuper’s innovative and artistic perspective. We’re excited to have fans around the world enjoy this collection as much as we do.”

The limited edition music and merch are available exclusively in The Rolling Stones’ flagship RS No.9 retail locations including London’s RS No.9 Carnaby, the soon-to-open RS No.9 Harajuku in Tokyo, as well as RS No.9 pop-up stores in NYC and LA. The collection will also be available to purchase online from the RS No.9 webstores from 20 October.
