The Powerpuff Girls adds to fashion collabs roster

New clothing collection from Spanish designer Maria Escoté is unveiled in Madrid.

Cartoon Network is continuing to build on its fashion collaborations for The Powerpuff Girls brand – teaming with Spanish designer Maria Escoté for a new clothing collection.

The range – which was unveiled at the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Madrid – pays homage to the brand’s 1990’s heritage and the message of female empowerment.

As well as the heroines Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, Maria has also taken inspiration from the villains of the show and has reinterpreted some of the most iconic bad guys like Sedusa, Him, Femme Fatale and Mojo Jojo.

The collection includes clothing and footwear, bringing a ‘sophisticated take’ on female sportswear.
