The Point.1888 signs artist Bree Merryn

Agency will target a wide range of categories for all retail channels for artist and painter.

The Point.1888 has further strengthened its roster, signing as the exclusive brand extension partner for artist and painter, Bree Merryn.

Bree (pictured) works from her studio overlooking the Yorkshire Dales and is often found on the surrounding moors photographing a range of animals that inspire her paintings.

Having studied for many years as a figurative artist, Bree has a flair for capturing the character and detail of her subjects. All of the animals she paints have their own name and personality and range from farm animals, to wildlife and landscapes.

Bree’s artwork – which adorns over 100,000 homes – is available in a range of framed prints, mini canvas cuties and box canvas prints.

There are also cushions and greeting cards available, with The Point.1888 looking to expand on these areas, partnering with ceramic, textile, gifting and stationery partners to name a few.

“We are absolutely delighted to be appointed to represent such a talented client,” said Bethan Garton, retail and brand director at The Point.1888. “The artwork is phenomenal and there are a vast array of assets across so many beautiful subjects.

“We will be targeting long-term, high quality manufacturers across a range of categories for all retail channels, the Bree Merryn brand should be accessible to all.”

Bree added: “I am really thrilled to be working with The Point.1888. They share my strong ethical values and are highly respected within the retail industry.

“This is a very exciting new phase of my brand development. I am really looking forward to seeing my artwork on a wide range of new high quality product ranges.”
