The Point.1888 continuing to drive Battersea licensing programme

Animal welfare charity, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home has extended its licensing representation agreement with The Point.1888.

The news comes after a successful 2022 which saw the brand double its licensees, unveil further style guide assets and launch a number of new products.

The licensing programme now features 23 licensees with new partners recently coming on board including Saxon, Amber House, Meller Designs, Cityfax, Bro Global, Practical Publishing, Welbeck and Danish Designs, providing retailers and consumers with a broad offer across products for both pets and humans.

The brand is now looking to find new partners for 2023 and beyond in categories including collaborations, stationery, gifting, party, publishing, toys, FMCG and more.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with Battersea,” commented Becky Langer, senior brand manager at The Point.1888. “It has been so exciting to work with the brand and help aid the incredible work they do through the sale of licensed products. The programme has really come into its own this year with a huge variety of products for all the family, developing into a true lifestyle brand with purpose.”

James Devenny, senior corporate partnerships manager at Battersea, continued: “We are delighted to continue our valued relationship with The Point.1888. Despite the business challenges we have all been facing, it is testament to both the calibre and passion of the team at The Point, as well as the huge affection Battersea holds in the hearts of the UK population, that our licensing programme is growing at such speed.

“The Battersea brand represents expertise and trust as well as the love and joy of dogs and cats, all of which are encapsulated in our expanding range of practical and gifting products. Buying Battersea products is an great way to support the charity and helps us continue to be there for dogs and cats everywhere.”
