TV property The Next Step continues to grow across its touring, merchandise and retail programmes, with agent Brands with Influence working closely with brand owner Boat Rocker Media.
The Next Step: Wild Rhythm Tour has been a hit on an international level, selling out in Canada and the UK (both in Bath and Cambridge) for the spring.
New dates have now been added for October, with matinee shows in Manchester, London, Birmingham, Brighton and Portsmouth joining the run in response to sold out evening performances.
In addition, more dates have been added in Ireland and Australia/New Zealand, with even more due to be announced shortly.
Meanwhile, in the consumer products space, BWI has secured a partnership with Igloo Books for the launch of activity and sticker books.
There will also be a range of lifestyle and fashion apparel from TVM Fashion Lab for Sainsbury’s.
Another clothing line – supplied by Limelight Dancewear – is available in Canada, brokered by Segal Licensing.
Segal Licensing has also been working with Dupluim Corp and Stream Commerce on a project called the Zero Percent Club, which is featured in the show. The club aims to encourage dialogue about stress, fear, anxiety and related issues that tweens and teens face today.
A special store will debut Zero Percent Club bracelets in the summer, with more products joining over the next few months.
