The Light Fund Summer Treasure Hunt dated

Mark Thursday  July 13 in your diaries as popular event set to return.

The Light Fund Summer Pub Treasure Hunt returns next month, with this year’s route set to take in the Southwark/Waterloo area of London.

Taking place on Thursday July 13 from 5.30pm, this year’s end venue is Thai Silk on Isabelle Street in Southwark. Brand Licensing Europe is once again the headline sponsor.

Teams will follow a map created especially by A-Z with a series of questions and challenges. It is not a timed race: the winner will be the team who gains the most points.

At the final location, Thai Silk, there will be an informal dinner and drinks from 8.00pm, with prizes including a treasure chest of goodies for the winners and a booby prize for the losers.

Over 300 industry executives attended last year’s treasure hunt, with the team from Start Licensing – which included Ian Downes, Karen Addison, Andrew Levy, Angeles Blanco, Phil King, James Marsh and Jon Gibson – claiming victory.

Picking up the ‘dead parrot’ prize for last place was the team from Carte Blanche.

Tickets cost £40 per person (inc VAT). Teams can be any number up to a maximum of ten people. The price guarantees entry to the treasure hunt and includes a hot meal at Thai Silk.
