This week’s comedy night – held at The Albany in London – attracted a sell out crowd and raised almost £2,000 for The Light Fund in the process.
Executives from companies including Paramount, Sanrio, Netflix, Retail Monster, Start Licensing, Max Publishing, Licensing Link Europe, Licensing International, Rockpool Licensing, Zeros Art, Hasbro, Star Editions, Asgard, SGLP, Fashion UK and FOCO headed to the Fitzrovia pub on Wednesday 20 April.
They were treated to comedy from MC and comedy impressionist, Stephen Williams, East Ender Jeff Innocent, stand-up and musical comedian, Jon Long and Dan Kielty who brought his experiences as a boxer, a hairdresser and a bailiff into his routine.
There was also a raffle with prizes generously donated by a host of companies.
“Once again The Light Fund Comedy Night was sold out and the capacity crowd were treated to sets from four excellent comedians, each with their own unique, and very funny, view on life,” commented Sabrina Segalov of The Light Fund. “It was great to see so many friends and colleagues enjoying themselves and we raised almost £2,000 for distribution to good causes later this year.”
