The Licensing Sports Book to debut in September

A new publication from the licensing stable of Max Publishing is launching in September, with the Licensing Sports Book set to shine a spotlight on this fast growing sector of the business.

Arriving alongside the autumn edition of Licensing Source Book in September, Licensing Sports Book will cover all areas of sports licensing – from football to rugby, motor racing to cricket, golf to NFL and much more.

It will be distributed in print and digital format to retailers, licensees of sports merchandise and sports brands, as well as at key licensing trade shows.

Content will include news, interviews and commentary from market experts, as well as analysis from research partners.

The first edition will also feature a preview of the growing sports section at Brand Licensing Europe 2023 (4-6 October, ExCeL), as well as previewing The Sports Merchandise & Licensing Show (17 October, Stamford Bridge).

“With the sports category seeing a 19% increase in 2022, according to Licensing International’s Global Licensing Industry Study, we knew the time was right for the launch of a dedicated publication,” explained Ian Hyder, ceo at Max Publishing, which publishes the Licensing Source Book and LicensingSource.net, as well as owning and organising The Licensing Awards and the Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards.

“The sector is as dynamic as it is fast moving, and the team will be looking to capture the excitement and enthusiasm around it within the book.”

A number of commercial packages are available. Please get in touch with Ian Hyder – ianh@max-publishing.co.uk – or Rob Willis – robw@max-publishing.co.uk – for full details.
