The Licensing Awards 2022 in the spotlight on ITVBe

The Licensing Awards 2022 took a starring role in Wednesday (26 October) night’s episode of Billie & Greg: The Family Diaries on ITVBe.

Viewers saw Billie Faiers preparing to attend the industry’s big night – which took place on 13 September at the Grosvenor House Hotel – having been nominated in the Best Music or Celebrity Licensed Property category for her work on a children’s range with George @ Asda.

Billie was nominated alongside big names such as The Beatles, Mrs Hinch, The Rolling Stones and Billie Eilish to name just a few, acknowledging that the “competition was pretty stiff” as she headed to the ceremony with her manager.

Having arrived and greeted the Asda team, Billie said: “The atmosphere in the room is absolutely amazing; all I can see are hundreds and hundreds of people. I am starting to feel a little bit nervous. I knew it was a big deal to be nominated, but I didn’t realise the extent of the event.”

Billie’s nerves were unfounded, however, as she was named winner in the category, heading on stage to collect the award with the George @ Asda team and proclaiming: “I’m so happy!”

A new baby collection is due to launch with George @ Asda in January, Billie confirmed during the programme.
