Shortlist for the prestigious product categories confirmed for September’s big night.
The finalists in The Licensing Awards 2019 Product categories have been confirmed.
The judging for the category took place at Arsenal’s Emirates stadium earlier this month. Over 4,000 licensed products were entered into the awards this year.
Some 150 retail buyers judged the entries, individually selecting which five products they considered the best in each category.
Reflecting the broad retail base of licensed products, the judging panel this year included buyers from right across the retail spectrum including Forbidden Planet, M&Co, Toymaster, John Lewis, The Entertainer, Games Workshop, Moonpig, Sainsbury’s Argos, Tesco, M&S, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s Tu, River Island, George @Asda, WH Smith, Character.com, Next, Tesco F&F, House of Cards, Miniclub, FatFace, Paulton’s Park, Debenhams, TruffleShuffle, Halfords, Geek Universe, Geek is Chic, Matalan, Merlin Entertainment, Mothercare, Primark, Hamleys and JoJo Maman Bébé.
