Company behind Kids Insights gets six-figure investment towards global expansion.
The company behind the Kids Insights and Parents Insights research – The Insights People – has secured six-figure investment from SuperAwesome as its global expansion continues.
The investment from kid-tech start-up SuperAwesome comes as The Insights People kicks off its second funding round.
In addition, it has also welcomed former head of production at Nickelodeon, Howard Blumenthal, as non-executive director to further aid its expansion, following on from the launch of Kids Insights US earlier this year.
Since launching in 2016, The Insights People’s research into kids preferences – it surveys more than 40,000 children and 10,000 expectant and new parents every year – has led to a solid and growing client list including SEGA, Hasbro and Penguin Random House.
“Our strategic partnership with SuperAwesome indicates the great strides The Insights People has rapidly made,” commented Nick Richardson, ceo of The Insights People. “SuperAwesome’s six-figure investment is a fantastic vote of confidence in our business plan and a great start as we embark on a second round of funding to enable our global expansion.”
Dylan Collins, ceo of SuperAwesome, stated: “Real-time data on kids’ behaviour is key for virtually every company operating in this sector so we’re delighted to welcome Nick and the team into the SuperAwesome family.”
