The Hummingbird Bakery extends into giftware

New range is being sold exclusively through Amazon.

A new branded giftware range from The Hummingbird Bakery is now available, as Beanstalk looks to place the brand at the centre of the home baking experience.

Available exclusively through Amazon, the new range includes a set of four cake forks, a set of measuring spoons, a cake slice, a tiered cake stand, a cupcake starter kit, a set of nesting cake tines and a flour shaker.

All of the products are styled to have a vintage American feel and are presented in the distinctive chocolate, cream and pink Hummingbird Bakery brand colours.

The Hummingbird Bakery launched in the UK back in 2004 and currently has six branches across London.

The company founder and md, Tarek Malouf, has published four cookbooks, which have notched up combined sales of over two million copies.

The new giftware range – created by Scoop Designs – is aiming to build on these successes, offering consumers a chance to interact with the brand in their own homes.

In addition, an extended bakeware range is expected to launch during the early part of 2016.

“The Hummingbird Bakery has an incredibly passionate fan base and consumers have long expressed a desire for products beyond the famous bakery’s core offer,” said Lisa Reiner, md of Beanstalk.

“Licensing is the perfect model to leverage the brand’s popularity and reach loyal and new consumers with exciting new products.

“Scoop Designs has the expertise to create high quality, innovative gift items that will seamlessly communicate The Hummingbird Bakery values, making Scoop an ideal partner for this widely popular bakery destination.”
