The Gruffalo Dobble ready to launch after Asmodee licensing deal

Agreement with Magic Light Pictures will see character appear on the UK’s bestselling game.

Asmodee has secured a new licensing deal with Magic Light Pictures to launch a version of Dobble featuring The Gruffalo.

The new edition of the UK’s bestselling game of speedy observation takes players on a walk through the deep dark wood and stumble across the character.

Between any two cards, there is always exactly one matching symbol. It could be a little brown mouse, Snake or Gruffalo’s knobbly knees or terrible teeth.

The game features illustrations from the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler and is suitable for children aged four and above.

“With Dobble fast becoming the nation’s favourite family card game, we are very excited to sign this licence with Asmodee,” said Aidan Taylor-Gooby, licensing manager at Magic Light Pictures. “Dobble is perfect for Gruffalo fans and will challenge kids and parents alike.”
