The Entertainer among those eyeing Hamleys bid

Sky News reports that toy specialist and Mike Ashley among pack of suitors.

The Entertainer is among suitors for Hamleys, Sky News has reported this afternoon.

As well as the ambitious toy specialist, Sport Direct’s Mike Ashley and Smyths are also said to have expressed an interest in making a bid.

Formal bids for Hamleys – which is currently owned by C.banner International – are due after Christmas.

According to Sky News, C.banner is looking for around £90 million for the company. It paid around £100 million for the retailer three years ago.
